The goal of shortstayBC is to allow landlords a way to generate maximum revenue from the businesses that they bought when the purchased a short term rental property, all while staying above board with the provinces new short term rental regulations.
By providing a single website where owners can list their homes for vacation stays of 90 days, it will be the one stop shop for anyone looking to stay in BC without signing a year long lease. With a large pool of tenants, subletting agreements can also be structured to allow 90 days stays to be broken down into groups of stays. This helps the tourism industry and allows landlords to maintain their bottom line.
As the short term regulations take effect, this platform will grow. This growth is what will allow for more promising options for both vacationers, students, and landlords. Easy to use contracts, guest ratings, host ratings, and host protection are all features that we intend to add.
